Ph. D. in Physics and Mathematics, associate professor at Department of Radiophysics. Born in 1983 in Saint Petersburg (former Leningrad). In the year 2000 graduated with excellence the secondary school No. 419 and entered the Physical faculty of Saint Petersburg State University. Graduated master course in 2007 (with excellence) and entered postgraduate course (2007-2010) at Department of Radiophysics. Ph. D. thesis was defended in 2011 in Saint Petersburg State University under guidance of professor A.V. Tyukhtin.

Scientific interests lie in the area of theoretical analysis of the electromagnetic field produced by charged particles and charged particle bunches at interaction with either material media or various inhomogeneous structures. The specified area includes a number of well-known phenomena such as Cherenkov and transition radiation, as well as certain related phenomena. Recently considered are various problems of interaction of charged particle bunch with bounded dielectric objects and problems of radiation from open guided structures. Mentioned questions are prospective for application in the area of wakefield particle acceleration and noninvasive diagnostics of particle bunches in accelerators. Moreover, beam-driven open guided structures are seemed to be prospective for generation of high-power terahertz (0.1-10 THz) radiation.

Director of projects from Russian Foundation for Basic Research (2011, 2012-2013, 2015-2016), grants from the President of Russian Federation for young Ph. D. (2013-2014, 2015-2016), winner of grant competitions from Government of Saint Petersburg for Postgraduate students and young Ph. D. (2009, 2010, 2014), grant holder from the Dmitry Zimin “Dynasty” foundation  (2011-2012). Author of publications in leading physical journals, participant of all-Russian and international conferences (e.g., International Particle Accelerator Conference, Radiation from Relativistic Electrons in Periodic Structures, Days on Diffraction), including participation in organizing committee.
